Save enough money to pay for a rental for 6 months and food for 6 months.
Save some more for a lawyer, divorce lawyers are a dime a dozen and cheap.
The day you have your finances all set, pack up and leave.
Contact the lawyer and she’ll handle the rest.
Within 6 months you’ll be back in your house and he’ll be living in a rental paying alimony.

76% of all American women go through divorce at least one.

How much do realtors get paid when they RENT apartments for owners?

I’m using a realtor to help me find a apartment in Miami, the owner of the apartment will pay the fee to the 2 realtors (the 1 realtor who listed the rental and the 1 I’m using who found it). How much do realtors charge for this? The apartment is $1800/month

in our area it’s one month. So it’s 1,800 with each broker getting 900 and each agent getting around 450-600.

did the real estate agent rip me off?

Posted by admin on November 24th, 2010 and filed under realestate agencies | 4 Comments »

okay im 18 years old, and i went to a realestate agency and told them that i wanted to be an agent. so they provided me with a online schooling. and im 3 weeks in . but then she calls me and says she wants me to sign a contract. my mom told me to carefully read it. and i did. she explained to me that since they helped me get my license started its only fair that i work for them. i didnt mind that because ive heard they are good …my question is tho. is if theres anything that im entitled too. for example she told me that i should have six months of money saved up because she doesnt think i will sell anything for six months. but i have bills!!! what should i do?? what should i ask her next time i meet with her?? please help im desperate

They are no ripping you off in any way. She is just explaining that you will need money until you start earning an income. Some plan to pay your bills, pay your fees to be an agent (license fees, fees to use the MLS, etc). There is nothing unusual about the contract.

Ask her how much money she estimates you will need for real estate for the next 6 months. But honestly, count on it taking closer to a year.

my California realtor is forcing me to sign a form?

Posted by admin on November 1st, 2010 and filed under realestate agencies | 1 Comment »

My convenience store has been in escrow for one month still waiting for beer license to be transferred.

My listing agent (acting as dual agency) told me yesterday that it’s mandatory for me to sign a form(real estate risk management) & pay $199 at time of closing of escrow & that if I don’t sign, escrow will not close.

I called the escrow but escrow agent told me that it has nothing to do with escrow but has to do with the realestate agency.

Basically what I think agent want me to do is to pay in advance & get 3 year contract with a company that’ll provide legal service if legal dispute arise later on. But I’d rather get my own legal advice. Why is my agent forcing me to sign & pay for this? The company’s website that my agent want me to get contract with is www.rerm.com.

I tried to contact the department of real estate to ask if my realtor is acting within the realestate law but all their numbers are just recorded messages & no way to leave any message. And I can’t find email for them either. What sould I do?

honestly I wouldn’t sign anything that you don’t feel comfortable with. You hear stories all the time about real esate agents trying to bilk money out of their clients. I would sit down with the agent and make them show you some sort of legal premise for why you have to sign the doc.
